This summer, at The Egg Assembly, we will be launching our biggest and most ambitious project yet: an online, interactive, environmental crime thriller. With you at the heart. Led by Ben Carlin (of immersive, digital wunderkinds, MEGAVERSE), this course will form a team to consider the visual language and design of such experiences; just how do you turn a story into something that can be explored, felt and played with online? Together, across four extended sessions, we’ll explore a variety of techniques from simple sketching to using open-source design tools to build the dazzling world of our crime thriller. The course is open to all levels of experience and is an exceptionally rare opportunity to develop digital design skills for theatre/game-based experiences alongside a true innovator; as such, places are limited.
